Looking for Mushrooms involved a curiosity around knowing the mushrooms that grew in an area of central Illinois. It was a time to get acquainted with each mushroom I came across, its given names, the environments each is a part of, and their sensation to hold as I worked with them to create a visual record similar to a spore print.
